The Song-dynasty Compendium of Sagely Beneficence also records Minister Fire in this period and discusses historical treatment principles, not a modern prescription.

The same chapter also discusses balancing cold and heat as a historical principle. Individual clinical assessment is necessary.
The six periods begin at Major Cold, Spring Equinox, Grain Full, Major Heat, Autumn Equinox and Minor Snow. The cycle year changes at Major Cold. Host qi is fixed; guest qi follows the governing-heaven sequence.
Movements use a simplified convention: Major Cold, then 13 days after Spring Equinox, 10 after Grain in Ear, 7 after End of Heat and 4 after Start of Winter. Guest movement starts with the yearly element. Early or late guest movement, corrective cycles and other schools are not calculated.
Supported from Major Cold 1901 to before Major Cold 2101, in fixed UTC+8. The 2026 boundaries use published HKO/NAOJ minutes; other years use sxtwl 2.0.7 rounded to minutes. Values near a boundary can differ by a few minutes across ephemerides.

This is a traditional calendrical model, not a weather observation, epidemic forecast or individual diagnosis. Historical treatment concepts are not proven modern treatments; care for COVID-19 or influenza requires clinical evaluation and current guidelines.
Test positivity is the percentage of monitored tests that were positive. It can change with care-seeking, testing practices and who is sampled.
China’s reporting week runs Monday through Sunday; U.S. CDC weeks end on Saturday. Sampling and laboratory networks may also differ by virus.
The page attempts to retrieve official data weekly. If a source fails, the last successful snapshot remains visible with a warning. This is public-health information, not individual diagnosis.
